• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

really? what's it do?

The fumes from the galvanizing are toxic -- If you were to "burn in" the can with a hot fire it would clear off the zinc/galvinizing but then it would immediately begin to rust out!

I have to admit I've thought of getting a thrift shop hot plate to put into my ECB.

And to think 30 years ago some of us probably would have been trying to figure out a way to make a bong out of it! same smoker concept? I don't think so! LMFAO

I could have just bought a trash can and gone to cooking

i dont know anyone that BBQ's at 400 degrees.. thatr aint right.... and He says BBQ is over charcoal, not wood and "smoking" is at 225. Sorry.. to me , cooking at 200-250, wook OR charcoal.. or both.. thats BBQ... and smoking is done in the hotsmoke(160-180) range and cold smoke(80--125) range. he's using an old boyscout trick... 'cept for the galvanized can....

My limited math skills calculate that to be $54, for $2 more he could have gone to wal-mart and had to ECB's to cook on. Whadda ya want from someone who says, "the std cut for smoking is a tri tip". California dude obviously needs some Brethren assistance, and a hand check.
