Backyard BBQ Competition Cooking Class presented by Hogline BBQ and Rotary Rock-n-Ribs on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 7:30 am until 3:00 pm (Breakfast will be served from 6:30 - 7:30 am) at La Crosse Moose Lodge, 1932 Ward Ave, La Crosse WI. Cost is only $175 per person; $125 per spouse. Door prizes. The class will consist of KCBS Backyard Competition Techniques that include: meat selection, trimming, preparation and seasoning, temperature, pit/fire management, techniques and strategy, KCBS Backyard timeline from start to finish, presentation, taste and tenderness. Also, Steak Cookoff Association (SCA) trimming, preparation and cooking steaks . Wow, awesome information. Deadline for sign up is March 3, 2018.
