It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Looking at putting in Herb Garden Wifey Mod and herbs to use with my bbq. Any suggestions? I grew Oregano and will never do that again. It grows faster than a Brethren/Sisteren could drink beer at a MOFO bash....

basil grows way fasst also. try chives, mint etc. things that you can use alot. also throw a few habenero plants in.

Onions, esp. chives. Peppers and chilies of all types. Garlic too. Ya, I know some of this stuff is vegetables, but what the heck.

mint is way worse... its kudzu for a garden... be really careful. I'd put it in a pot by itself if you're planning on growing it...

I plant basil, oregano, chives, rosemary, cilantro and dill. I usually plant them in my vegetable garden, but I think next year I will do my herbs in pots. They tend to take the whole darn garden over.

Parsley sage rosemary and Thyme. Da da da da la la la la la la...

Basil dude. Gotta have basil.

If you plant mint around your house foundation, it will keep ants out of your crawl space.

Next year I'm going to try my hand at container gardening. I'll grow some herbs, and maybe some garlic and onions. And leaf lettuce. And spinach. We'll see how that goes.

I really like basil, so I'll definitely grow it, and maybe some rosemary.

But my main goal is to grow upside down tomatoes, tomatillos and peppers in a hanging garden. The price of tomatillos and peppers is getting out of hand IMO, and it would be better and cheaper to grow them myself.

I grow all of the above, plus SAGE! Sage is a great herb to grow in either a container or in the ground. Its highly aromatic, tasts great with pork, chicken, lamb, beef....... It also looks great. Its an evergreen, that grows like a weed, and a leafy branch makes an excellent basting brush.

Yeah, mint is good all around. It brings in the good bees, which visit all the other plants.

And rosemary is a must, it comes back each year..

Sage.....I like it, but it really moves in. This year, I'm cutting my plant back with a hedge trimmer.

Yeah; I suggest we trade. I got oregano, purple basil, chives, sage

I got Basil, Fresno, Anaheims, and Jalepeno peppers. I did Habaneros last year but them bitches are so hot we couldn't find any thing to do with them.

Basil attracts the bees. Peppers are great.

Peppers are a fruit.

Rosemary, Tyme, Oregarno, Mint, Bay, Marjoram, Tarragon and Sage are hardy and will grow for most of the year unless you have a very cold winter or a very dry summer.

Basil, Parsley (Flat leaf and English), Chives & Corrander are less hardy but will give you a bumper crop in summer.

I grow all of the above and it saves me a fortune as Herbs in supermarkets cost a fortune and I go through loads!!!

I also grow Curry Plant & Lavender as the flowers keep the Bees happy!!!

If you have problems with fast growing herbs, Mint for example, plant them in their own pot and sink it in your herb bed leaving about 5 mm sticking out. That'll keep the roots contained
