• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Just got in mail and want to familiarize myself with it.

1. when I scroll through the menu I get one that is AL setting..
Is this an alarm for pit/food temperature above or below by the set variable?

2. How do you put it in Scan Mode??

User guide doesnt really cover these.

Thanks,

Mike

What model did you get. I have two competitors and love them. I'm thinking that if you're scrolling thru the menu it's either a Digi-Q or Pro-Comm.

ALr (alarm) is pit temp. You set it for a given number of degrees above or below what you want to be cooking at. I use 20 degrees + or - when cooking at 230 and 10 degrees + or - when cooking at 250 or above.

Enter the scan mode by pressing the pit (P) and up arrow at the same time.
