• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Hello Ya'll,

Just joined up on the 12th of August. I've been reading a lot from the gang and I have picked up a lot of good info on what I like to do, "Q".

I've been cooking, grilling, and smoking for about 12 years or so. I started with bullet smokers but now use a black diamond and now I'm the proud owner of a Bandera. I have only used it once so far and have been making the mods that I have learned from this site.

I grill with natural gas when I don't have time to fire up the smoker. I'm a fire tender and only like to use charcoal for the startup. Mostly use white oak, pecan and cherry.

Well, thanks for this great group and I am glad to be with you!

IF YOU'VE GOT EM............SMOKE EM!

Welcome Rusty,
Western Tennessee is famous for its Q, but I
can say that East Tennessee holds its own as well.
We have a plant in Telford, up in the quad cities area
so I'll be passing your way within the next few months.
Glad you chose to join us!! Hope you make the smoke
in those Great Smokie Mountains smell like Q.
Welcome

Not only BBQ, but please help me put Racer81 in his place.

So we ask you:

Tennessee Whisky or Kentucky?
