• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Hi there, just found out about this forum from someone over at the CBBQA. I have been grilling for 10 years and smoking for the last 3. I am out in Riverside, CA so I have great grilling weater all year. I have been doing most of my cooking on a big stainless gas monster I got 4 years ago. I modified the smoke drawer to take chunks, not just chips. Last month I got a SIlver Smoker and will break it in this weekend with ribs. I will try and come out to the gathering in Norco at the end of the month. Thanks for listening to my rantings. :roll:

Welcome to the backyard...Post often! The Char-Broil Silver Smoker was my first smoker used her 5 + years turned out some real good "Q", like Arlin said I need a smoker to hold more meat :grin:
Although the old girl still gets an occational work out...Char-Broil not pictured below.
