Greetings, just joined your forum after looking around the 'net for inspiration. I, as do many of my countrymen, labour under the delusion that barbecueing is all about lighting up charcoal (or the devils fuel, gas
), plonking some meat on a grille set 4 inches above it and reducing it to an inedible cinder before pronouncing it 'ready':redface:
I wish to redress this ignorance and hace 'procured' two old gas cylinders to turn into a horiontal smoker, which I'll do as soon as time permits. 'Til then I'm gonna try offset firing my converted-from-gas-to-charcoal lidded chargrill, putting the meat at the other end, shutting the lid and seeing what transpires:-D
