Hello from a newbie...

Just wanted to say hello from San Diego and I love the site. Hoping to learn a ton from everybody. It's great that everyone is super cool about being helpful and willing to share. Oh yea, pulled the trigger on a LSG trailer pit a couple of weeks ago. (been dreaming for years) Went with the offset with vertical smoker and warming oven on the front, santa maria grill on the back. Now only 18 more weeks to go, give or take. It's funny how time magically slows down. Stoked to be part of the brethren.

Well for a newbie you are going all out on a new pit. That's going to a nice setup. You won't be a newbie very long. Great bunch of folks on here.

I'm just a newbie to the site, I've been doing bbq most of my life. (although I can't say I'm very good at it, but I do have fun) Chris and Amber really go above and beyond and their service is something you don't see every day. Doing this from SD is something I'm only going to do once and they've made the choice is easy. I figure even I can't screw it up too badly on that beast of a cooker, hahaha...
