I've tried texas bbq rubs. but not texasbbqrub

i've tryed its good stuff .. the pork rub and the brisket rub are both good..but now i'm starting to make my own rubs. just another of that do it yourself bbq thing..(trying to make better Q every time i light up) but he does make good stuff!!!

Tried it... like it... good stuff. Some of the best commercial rub that I've come across... Still make most of my own stuff, but this stuff is very good.

I have also tired it and won with it. Found it a year or so ago and have been using it every since then. The brisket blend is great as well.

10-4 Bill Cannon makes ssome great stuff. He is also a very nice guy. The texasbbqrub forum has a get together every year at his little get a way place out in the country half way between San Antonio and Houston. I went this year and it was a real blast. I came home with several pounds of his rub and I like the "Original" the best. I make my own rubs and I like all mine better. But that Original stuff is GOOOOOD! Rub some some ribs with some Pineapple Habinaro pepper Jelly and then get a good coat of that rub....oh man...Ya just can't stop eatting.

Is this the rub from texasbbqrub.com? I have used this product and love it but if you go to the web site they have only one blend. What are all these other blends that you are talking about?

They have a brisket blend but you need to ask for it via email or phone. I believe Bill is going to start selling it on line next year! Both blends are great...I always have somew on hand!!:biggrin:
