• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

"Happy Phriday Pharkers, what's Smoking this Weekend?"

Happy Phriday Phu! Doing hibachi chicken and salmon on the Blackstone Saturday night. Sunday will be four 7 lb. picnics and two 4 lb shoulder roasts for Pepper Stout Beef cooked and packed away for a benefit next weekend. Temps in the 70's here in NC. Happy weekend all!

Nothing this weekend, but being Spring Break and seeing how I teach, I will be smoking a butt or ribs for my friend who's wife is having surgery so they won't have to cook, a couple of fatties and a Turkey for the first time. I quit smoking tobacco a few years ago but I'm so glad I started smoking all PROPER like this year!!

I wish I had an Iberico pork rack. :pout:

Aside from wangs, I have no idea yet. I'm just gonna see what looks good. I will not be making beef jerky - I have to stop eating that stuPh so much - I have no self control!

Happy Phriday and weekend to Phu, the crew and all y'all Pharkers!

I'm thinking of trying out a chicken/turkey bacon version of the MOINK in an effort to be a little more calorie conscious, cutting the calories to about 1/3 of the traditional version.

Probably will do some sort of spinning meat. I'd really like to do more pork loin because it was so damn good and relatively lean.

I've experimented with a dry rub corning method for my brisket and that experiment extends to this weekend. Saturday 8 lbs of brisket get transphormed into pastrami. It's going to be a long day.
