• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I'm not sure yet. I know that there is a phatty in the phridge calling my name for the Sausage! throwdown and I have a couple of nice, thick pork chops for dinner one day, but no other plans yet.
 
Going to make something for the sausage throw-down and not sure.. Big snow storm coming might run to farmers market and see what meat I can cook
 
If the blixard winds don't hit 50mph like they're talking about - Smoking 6lbs of jerky that's curing right now and a chunk of buck board bacon coming out of the cure tonight.
 
Happy Phriday Phu, Pharkettes, and Pharkers! Nothing too exciting here, probably just a butt or two for stocking up on quick meal meat. Oh yeah, gonna can some corned beef (thanks Cowgirl!). And a brake job on the Honda; they're smoking too and ain't supposed to! Going to be cold in the garage! Have fun everyone!
 
Picked up a 13lb Choice brisket at the Super One store yesterday for $2.47 lb, maybe the beef prices are coming down a bit
 
Ham was on sale for 1.29/lb and I've been wanting to try Dr Chicken's Double Smoked Ham recipe for a long time. So I picked one up for Sunday.
 
Happy Phriday, Phu! I've got a nice ahi steak in the fridge. That'll probably be lunch today since I am working from home. Maybe some MOINKs for the weekend.
 
Depending on the wind, I am going to Q a chuck shoulder roast on my mini, going to be my first go at it. I was thinking of using Carne Crosta.
 
Thinking grilled spatchcock chicken and perhaps another one whole smoked. Wife picked up some presoaked cedar planks. She is not a fan of most fish so maybe a planked meatloaf, (any thoughts there)?
 
Turkey Breast tomorrow, grilling some Ribeyes seasoned with Oakridge BBQ Carne Crosta tonight.
 
Have a good weekend, Phu. I don't know anything about the Netherlands, but the only thing cooking at my house this weekend is pharking snow. I've tried brining, rubbing, injecting and several types of prep, but the stuff always just turns to water.
 
Waiting on my new barrel to get here Saturday. I think ill do a couple of chickens Saturday night and a couple of butts on Sunday.
 
tri tip over red oak on the santa maria sound good....some sort of veggies too

Smoking a hen today. My 30 day dry aged steaks will be ready Sunday. Hope to cut them up and try one. (letting the second one age for 45 days)
