• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

If the weather cooperates I'm firing up the gasser to cook some pizza.
 
Nothing today but tomorrow, I have six or seven curing boneless pork butts going in to make buckboard bacon. Gonna give some to the neighbors for Christmas and take the rest to Michigan for the family. Thinking of adding something else but not sure yet. May do a chuck roast for chits and grins.
 
I will be doing 8 Butts a Brisket and Beans on the Spicewine.

I can't wait to get started.

Pork and Pork…

I’ve had a Boston Butt curing for some Buckboard bacon, and another one for some nice pulled pork… Oh yea, and of course the ever-present fatty (liking the ABT stuffing):mrgreen:
 
Supposed to cook brisket flat,pastrami and spares on Sunday but we are supposed to have a Nor'easter here, so I am putting it off till next weekend. Sucks for me.
 
I ended up having to throw two butts, two brisket flasts, and 3 slabs in the freezer, so I guess not much here until next weekend.
 
will be grillilng dry aged ribeyes this evening
 
I'd love to toss a briskie in the WSM, but too dang windy here.
I am craving some wings though. Maybe some quick wings on the gasser with a few hickory chunks and coated with a honey/habanero glaze.
And a cold beer!!
 
ABT's made with some leftover brisket, pig candy and a fattie or 2 for my martini party.

Dang that looks good.

Chief-I like em shaken and dirty too. Come to think of it lot of my ex-girlfriends were that way. I will try the stuffed olive next time.......bleu cheese is the best.
