i was perusing the net for Ham Rub/Marinade/Injection/Glaze recipes for Easter Weekend and ran across this one...Sound interesting..

The Pineapple Injection Marinade
2 cups of water (you can substitute any amount of water with white wine, beer, rum, brandy, sprite, cola)
2 cups of Pineapple juice
1/4 cup of honey
1/2 cup of brown sugar
Four full garlic cloves
1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
Dry Rub
2 tablespoons of Paprika
1/2 tablespoon Salt
4 tablespoons of brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoons of ground cloves
1 tablespoons of black pepper
The Glaze
1/4 cup of brown sugar
2 cups of honey
1/2 cup of Irish Butter
2 cups of Pineapple juice
1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon of Cayenne pepper

Keep these coming, I am trying to find a good receipe to use this Easter. This is going to be my first attempt at smoking a Ham, so I would like to be able to knock the socks off the people at the table when they taste the meat.

Not sure...I googled it, but it looks like just a brand of butter...

I was hoping someone here would know.

Ill volunteer to go to Kilarney and get us some IRISH BUTTER. I know a few pubs to crawl around in while im there!

It is simple but always a hit at my house.

Rub it down good with apple butter the night before. Put it in a plastic bag in the fridge overnight then toss it on the smoker. Whole bone in hams work the best.
