Has anyone used a guru on a Bandera? They aren't exactly cheap but sounded wonderful.

Also understand it could be used on other pits for just the cost of the fitting.

Jim

I have a Guru that I used on my Backwoods when I lived in NY and I had to deal with cool/cold/frozen outdoor temps. But I have little use for it down here. If you are doing long cooks it will be very helpful to maintain temps but you will still have to tend to the supply of wood that you feed the Bandera.
I am sure some of the Bandera owners will chime in here. If you decide that you are looking for a Guru, we can talk.

Porky, I'll send you a PM after I think about this. Just found a NB Horizontal and will look at as soon as the seller is available. Was thinking I could use it either or.
