I am in the process of making a pit, 3 years in the making, or maybe longer at this point.... I am pretty new to this, so I hope not to get flamed too badly if i screw up on the forums. I am a photographer and firefighter and EMT, going thru medic classes. The pit I am building is a fire truck based theme pit, with a few additions.
