Greetings from NH....

I have been doing BBQ for about 6 years or so but still consider myself a novice/amateur. Until this year I have been using a GrandMac Triple crown which has served me well. It produces good BBQ, but not great. The biggest issue I have found with it is temp control since it tends to leak.

I recently bought a Weber Smokey Mountain finally and cant wait to try it out and improve my BBQ.

Im sure Ill have lots of questions....

Any ideas on a first smoke on the new Q....

Im thinking chicken thighs or wings, but dont have a good recipe. Either that or ABTs. I made ribs a couple weeks ago and Im thinking of something different.
