Great Q Joint

Went out for a beer, some darts and barbecue with a friend of mine this week. Stopped at a place in Lewisville Texas called "Dat's Good Q" . Trust me it was! I could tell by the smell when I walked in that place I was gonna be happy. Went through the line and got chicken, ribs, a little white bread for the barbecue sauce (the meat didn't need any), Ice tea, and some DAMN GOOD peach cobbler! My hands were shaking before I could sit down. NO JOKE!!! I ate till I was so full all i wanted was access to a remote and a football game. That barbecue made my socks roll up and down. Multiple foodgasms.

It is hard to find really good Q restaurants. So far the top 3 I have eaten at were Danny Gaulden's Dairy Queen in Carlsbad New Mexico, Some spot on the side of the road in Brady Texas (actually had goat on the menu) and this place...makes me want to go back for more just typing about it.

That is one heck of a reccomendation cck. I am going to print that out and put it in my travel folder so I will remember to look it up next time I get into that part of the world.
