• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Hey Ron - Isn't Bentonville the home of Wal-Mart ? They have everything... If BBQ is not there yet, Wal-Mart probably has it on the "to do" list..

Have a great trip and post pics wherever you end up eating !!!

Ron,

Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, and Fayetteville are basically one Metro area now.

"Penguin Ed's" in Fayetteville gets good marks from my daughter and my wife.

Penguin Eds B & B Bar-b-que (479) 521-8985 230 S East Ave
Fayetteville, AR 72701

I have never eaten there, just taking their word for what it is,
It does "look" like real Que and the lot is always full.

Lots and Lots and Lots of BBQ in NE AR.
Locals can probably help best when you get there.

Have fun.

Ron,

When are you going???

TIM

5:30 :-D

Three days at Wal*mart HQ to help them implement some of our products.

I saw a report on Penguin Ed's on the Chowhound site. That's a possibility. Whole Hog Cafe was also given good reviews on Chowhound, and it's only two miles from my hotel.

I'll see what the hotel folks think. Tonight will be my only dinner on my own. I'll be stuck with business dinners tomorrow and Tuesday, so I'll have little control over where we go.

Ron,

Be very careful.
Fayetteville is a college town.
There are several "Gentleman's Clubs" in the area.

Be sure you do not go there!!!!!!!

I have been told that strange things can happen to your body in places like that, surrounded by all that nubile stuff. I also hear that the drink prices are really reasonable also.

Not that I would know about any of that--just rumors you understand

Have a great time!

Thanks for the warning!

I'd hate to walk into one of those places unprepared!
