Quick dinner tonight of a couple recipes I saw on the web. Seasoned up some chops with salt and pepper. Cut the potatoes into wedges and then microwaved them for two minutes to speed the cooking process. Drizzled some olive oil on the wedges and then tossed them in salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Parmesan Cheese. Through all of it on the gasser indirect.

When the chops were almost done, over to the hot side on the Grill Grates and added the glaze. The glaze was two parts Gochgang, one part honey, a splash of soy sauce, and I added some Korean Pepper like you would make Kimchi with.

The fries came out great. I will definitely make these again.

The pork chop? Tasted good. And it was juicy. But that was the toughest piece of meat I have had in a LONG time. Not sure if it was just a tough pig, or that we got used to Pork Ribeyes with all their fattiness.

Eating well again tonight, I see! Cook on! :thumb:

Yeah, Mama is having a procedure Thursday that requires 24 hour fasting, etc. So I decided to make some good meals before she has to starve herself. Tomorrow night is her request, Fettuccine Shrimp Alfredo. She can eat as much as she can before the fast starts and then have some leftovers after the procedure.

Great looking plate, hope all is well with the Mrs.

Thanks Bill. More preventative and exploratory. She'll be fine, but Wednesday and Thursday will suck for her.

That looks like a great meal! Sometimes pork chops are just tough. The glaze sounds good!

Looks great mate and good luck with her procedure

Terry don't nuke, blanch :biggrin1:

Just kidding looks like a darn good meal :thumb:
