• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

In the midst of all the sadness of knowing that we are in the midst of the very last of my mother's days on Earth, we had a gig to cater this past weekend. A kids party for 13-18 year olds. Lamb chops, BBQ chicken, burgers, dogs, mac n cheese, corn, sugar snap peas, salad, watermelon, brownies.

Thanks to Phil, we were able to get the lamb chops at the very last minute-- we owe you again. A quick meeting at a gas station by exit 58 and we were off.

Everything was smooth, and the spot beautiful, but it was all a bit robotic with our minds elsewhere.

It's tuff to have happy thoughts when there are things weighing heavy on your heart.

Looks like somewhere on the north shore/fork. Too bad it couldn't have been a happier time for you and yours -

Montauk.....off the beaten path. I can't imagine someone would be able to get there without a guide.....

The drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers lives a few hundred feet away in a house that juts out over the water. Amazingly beautiful landscape.....

A few hours after dark, the double decker long island railroad train went right past us on a nearby hill, windows glowing and reflecting off the water...

It was a good distraction for a few hours.

Sorry to hear about your mom BYC...It looks like a great spot for a party and a little reprive from the real world.

Sorry to hear about your Mom. Sometime's being around young people helps to take my mind off the problem's of the adult world.

That's a very beautiful scene, I'm sure it matches many beautiful memories of your mother.

saying a prayer, right now for peace and comfort, for all of you.

aloha,

A day doesn't go by that I don't think about my father, who we lost 6 years ago. Losing a parent is one of the major events in life. I offer best wishes.

didn't that drummer guy play the Talkhouse last week? And isn't that the same view from just down the road at the Sunset Saloon?
