Any brethren cooked the BBQ Battle in Washington DC? Any feedback on the comp, load-in/out, etc? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks.

We've cooked it the last 4 years. It's gotten a lot better as far as load in load out logistics. Last year we were on site and set up by 9:30 Friday night; This year they got a new fence contractor and we were allowed to set up while the fence was being erected so we were set up by 8:30.

It's an odd comp schedule, chicken and brisket turn in on Saturday and ribs and pork Sunday. If you don't have a trailer with a water tank bring a wagon or cart as it can be a bit of a walk to water.
