• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Are all fruit woods good to smoke with? I just bought a house and moved in this week and the previous owner said that this stump was a fruit tree but didn't specify what it was. I'm gonna dig it out as u will see in the pics I am taking out cement and brick today. Its not a lot of wood just wondering if I could smoke with this wood regardless of what kind of fruit tree it was?

Fruit woods are great to smoke with, however you are basing the fact that it may be fruit wood without knowing what it actually is.

If it were me, I wouldn't use it unless I had more information, but also by the looks of the stump, it's well beyond just "seasoned" and may not be able to impart any type of flavorings.

Burn it in your social pit at night when you are sitting around, chatting with a few friends, while having a couple drinks.

If that was in my yard, it would be soaked with dog urine. Just saying...
