I just had to post this.

Picked up a half flat of fresh just picked strawberrys yesterday while I was at work. This has been the earlies I have gotten them in a while. They are so juicy and sweet. Another advantage of living in sunny san diego, field fresh strawberrys on December 28th

Here in sunny Huntington Beach.......feel free to chime in Country......I hit the surf at about 10:30. 65 degrees, ocean temps were about 55 degrees with a light offshore wind.
Only Keale has better weather.

Here in Montana we are at a balmy +17 and only about 1 foot of snow... Think I'll ignore the Brothers who likes to brag about the strawberrys and go ice fishin tomorrow. So there... Lets see you do that in "San Diego":icon_cool ! But the berrys do look good!!! :-D

As for the strawberries - they looked great. May you never choke, gag, or swallow one wrong as your inland brothers suffer in cold, snow covered, fairly priced housing, reasonable food costs, lower insurance costs, and comparable salaries..... (former recruiter MOD)

Enjoy the warm weather. I have to bundle up so I can go get the bone-in pork loins I got for 1.00/lbs. It was easier to leave them in the car since it and my frig were the same temp and I didn't have space in the other.
