• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

? for Lang owners

When open door even cracked to me looks like heat and smoke seem move out firebox.

you will get a little coming out but have you tried to leave it cracked just a tiny bit for 30 minutes to see if it helps?

cool you got pics , big enough fire for sure but you do not want it level . try raising the nose up so the heat will rise through and out the stack .

also you said you had wind blockage I thought , try putting a fan a little ways back from you firebox blowing at it and see what it does . you will probably haft to build a smaller fire to cook with but give that a try and I have had to do this before on a Brinkmann smoker .

found a pic

"Close everything heres where im at....."

Then wait for 30/40 min...Watch what are the temps doing...Let the fire settle...Don't add any more wood until the temp drops to your target...
Temps should start to even out in the chamber over time...

Good Luck...

I 2nd the leave it as is and take a pic in 45-60 minutes.

looks pretty normal at this point

yes it takes a lot of wood especially to get it up to temp

If you are buying wood at Lowes you will go broke.

Get a face cord from a firewood place

What type wood is that? It looks like firewood not cooking wood(hardwood)...

Going against the grain here, but have you tried leveling the trailer out and trying that. That thing is going to pull air through it up down or level especially with a fire like that.
