• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. My wife just bought me the bandera for a birthday present. So I haven't really did anything in it yet. Next weekend I am planning on smokin' some ribs and butts. She tells me it really is an early retirement gift. I am retiring from active duty within a year or two. This way I will have something to do. 8)

Welcome to the neighborhood. I'm retired USAF ('93) though still working - funny thing about military retirement!!:-D

There are a few other "brethren" up in the panhandle, too.

Yeah, wife wants to return to Germany only this time I will be the dependent. She is still at Eglin BX.

Just wanted to add, I am not much of a computer person, I work on them all day long and really it is the last thing I want to do when I am at home. I guess the "lurker" moniker will have to stay on my logon. I will let you all know I will make an effort to at least come on once a week. Dave

Welcome to the fray! And we'll try very hard to get you addicted to the site!

Nothing wrong with that!! Face it, there are worse fates than being in base housing in Germany and being the "dependent".:-D

Damned skippy! Mmmm...Germany....

And bit - you're already out of lurker status. Easy, huh? Next thing you know you'll be pushing for farker!

True, however, the mother in law will also be there.....and that my friend is an experience all in itself. Just imagine 5 years of it and no escape except to the local gasthaus....

Well, let's see...there are at least three of us that live on the Gulf...a couple others within driving distance....a few more down in S. Florida that fish, que, and otherwise debauch in a Brethren manner....hmmmm, perhaps an offshore fishing trip would be in order.:-D

No I doubt it, I have too many questions on Qin' to be elevated to farker status, even though I may be one in other things ;-)

Sounds like a plan, I am always up for debauchery. Still recovering from the 1/2 gal of tequilla I had this past weekend.

Oh, but you will get there. We have some Uber Farkers that rarely light a fire...

Feel free to query this august group...you may not get the answer to the question you asked, but you will definately get AN answer. There are brothers that do all the que meats, deserts, many varieties of fish, fowl, and veggies, not to mention breads, veggies, and sundry other edibles.
