• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I am getting ready to cook a pork loin and I'm curious about where to put the probe? Right dead in the middle I assume?

Slide it in from the top not the end unless you want a little hole in the center of every slice of loin:mad:

Make sure you get the probe in the center of the meat. Going through the top is fine.
Good Luck with your cook.

I hold the probe on the outside of the meat to measure where the center is and then mark that depth on the probe with my fingertip and then slide it in the top center until my fingertip is touching the meat. That way the tip is in the center on the inside.
