• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Everyone,
I wan't to thank you all for this site, since today was cherry-bustin' time for the Bandera. As y'all know i used the Weber for some time, and MANOMAN am I ever happy with the Bandera. So easy to control temp, and so easy to light, holds the heat, stable. It was a dream.
Thanks to heath in Brier who gave me enough Alder to smoke for a year. The wood burned nice and long.
This was by far the best tasting BBQ I have done and it was with little or no effort. 3 slabs of Pork, one of beef, and 5chicken boobs, and i am stuffed, as is most of my neighbors.
I just want to thank all of you for the site. this site offers so much Q knowledge. And beleive me, i searched for a year for some stuff. The search engine is a life saver.
No i can't wait to do it again!

Posts like this gimme the warm and fuzzies.. Just shows, all the efforts so many of as have put into this, from the backoffice and admin stuff to the frontend day to day ops all pays off. When we were designing the board, and the layout and features, our goal was to have it "member built" and populated and taylored to what we needed. We've reach that and still growing... so while JB thanks us for the site.. I thank everyone who helps making it what it is.. and encourage all them lurkers to come out an help out even further.. Dont be shy.. we don't bite.

Thanks JB..

The way James' neighborhood is layed out I can just see the sweet blue drifting down past all the houses and everyone poking their heads out and aksing, "Wow, what's that!"

Good job james. You need anymore wood? I still have more to get before the end of the summer. If not, keep in mind I'll have a lot of seasoned wood to use up next summer. I also have some cherry here I could share.

snoqualmiesmoker,
Glad you had a good experience! I wish I'd found the brothers before my first cook. It all came out for the good though, my first cook was bad enough it sent me looking for the brothers! :)
