First time poster and hopefully will get this posted correctly. Saw some prime beef tenderloin was on sale so bought one and trimmed it down (after trimming about 5 pounds). I then used a brisket rub on it and let it sit in the refrigerator for 24 hours. I then smoked it at 180 for an hour to add in some smoke and then took it to 225 degrees until I hit 120 internally. I then took it out of the smoker and put in on my BGE which was at 500 indirect. I seared both sides for about 5 minutes per side and then foiled for 10 minutes. It came out medium rare with a lot of great flavor. The family gave it 2 thumbs up.....
