• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I am going to smoke some ribs and chicken thighs for work in a couple of weeks and this is my first time cooking for a large group should be around 20 to 25 people. Could you guys give me some help as to how many slabs of Babybacks and chicken thighs I should cook. Side aren't a problem they are going to be pot luck and I should have plenty of capacity with the 2 deras going.

If you are serving the group then 3 or 4 ribs per portion are good, in which case you have either 4 servings per rack or 3 servings per rack, (12 ribs the average per rack on spares), 6 ribs or half a rack is really good.

4 ribs per portion, 3 portions per rack, so anything above 9 racks will give you extras with 25 guests.

Thanks for the help guys, that calculator is a great resource I will use it now and in the future I am sure.
