• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

First Smoke on SmoFo (WSM)= Best Ribs I have ever had!

Thanks for all the help and tips, brothers. I did two racks of BBs today on my spanking new WSM. (No pics due to time constraints this time, sorry.)

I decided to buy the WSM 'cause of what I learned on here and I smoked the ribs the way I learned on here. Used cherry for the first time too.

Those ribs were the best I have ever had, bar none.

I said to myself during the untended cooking period while watching the temp hold totally steady the whole time -- that's one smoking farker - a regular SmoFo. Decided that was gonna be its name -- hope you MoFos don't mind the compliment. :mrgreen:

Awesome! This is a story that's replayed here many times over. But that's NOT to belittle your story! It IS INDEED incredible what a person can learn around here! I had a VERY similar story last year . . . it's the most awesome feeling when the people you care most about are raving about your food that you've lovingly prepared for them.

My wife had a special request for Mother's Day . . . a brisket. I thought 'I can do that' and I KNOW that you all will be here if I hit a glitch or whatever!

WSM 2X here. Doing a brisket and 2 pork shoulder butt roasts now in a light rain. Using a canopy. About to prep the ribs, pork and beef. Going to do chicken also... For Mother's Day....!
