• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Alright y'all.

Here's the rigs. Rec Tec RT-590 and Weber Performer, which is AWESOME.

Virgin Rec Tec, never used, with optional front shelf.

We'll do 275 F for an hour, then pull the chicken, crank it, and crisp the skin.

Three rubs - Killer Hogs spicy, Yardbirds rub, and another one I forget.

The tools, always adding more stuff out here.

A Home Depot 5 gallon paint bucket will hold a 20 pound bag of pellets, make sure to buy the screw top lids! I wanted plain black, but my local HD only had the US Army branded ones left, so 'Murrica it is!

Costco's finest 10 buck cab to keep me warm on a chilly SoCal evening.

The Performer's table makes a great prep surface....

What times it going to be ready, good equipment you have there

Looks awesome! Congrats on the new cooker and welcome to the forum!

Looks like a good time, indeed!

Thanks for sharing your adventures.

Good looking bird.

Thanks, everyone! 20 minutes until I pull the birds and crank it up.

My cigar won't last that long though, neither will the bottle of wine. Might need to dig in the humidor and go back in the kitchen to see my old friend Elijah Craig ;)

Di'Osta (sp?) - Illusione is the brand, Epernay is the line.

I'm a huge fan of Illusione cigars. I always have 5-10 boxes in my humidor.

I have had a couple Illusione a few years ago. Nice!

And welcome

Great first cook and post. Congratulations and welcome to the Brethren.

Nicely done! Pellet cooked yard bird sure is hard to beat :)

Nice whiskey, sticks, cookers and tunes.

Welocme to the Forum, Nate.
