First "big" cook with new smoker...

Well, I finally had a chance to exercise the size of my "good one" last week for my mom's election eve party-here's some pics...

Tasty! I made pig candy,pig peckers,abt's and 3 butts along with 2 pans of beans.
Not bad if I say so myself.

Nice pics of the food. That necklace looks kind-of like something I saw in N'awlins a couple of years ago before all the beads got washed away.

Sorry I couldn't chime in sooner-last night was the swearin-in of Ma's mayorship. She won by 7 votes-whew! Maybe I outta change my name to "the mayor's kid" now-lol.
Ok,back on topic. The foil pans were beans,the middle pan was warmng more pig candy-man that stuff is addictive!
Yeah, its a 42/24. The guys at ace of hearts drove up this week and picked it up to mount my grill on it this week and left me their demo unit-now that's service!
Now as for the "accessories" I got the hat a couple years ago at the royal,the beads were this year.
And the apron, well that was for good luck-it was my grampa's
although, god bless him, he couldn't cook real well-unless you like carbon,with a side of charred meat.
