• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

First attempt at smoking a whole duck

Wanted to try something different to expand smoking skills. A bit nerve racking as it also was the first time smoking on a friend’s Weber grill with Slow and Sear. It was hard for me to get steady temps but in the end it turned out great and very tasty. 275ish for two hours with cherry wood.

I never thought of doing smoked duck. With the high fat content of duck, i bet it its probably 10x better then chicken or turkey. I hope you put a drip pan underneath to catch all that duck fat.
