• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Best so far is the Spicey sprayed with Pepsi. Maple wasn't too shaby. Plain was a little bland. I wasn't thrilled with apple juice spray. Will add a little bourbon to the Pepsi next time. Next will be Italian and Sage. Maybe a plain rolled in Tony Chachere's More Spice. So far, the wife and work hasn't passed any up.

Last batch was smoked over a partially cooked ham. Spayed all with Pepsi, and the fatty drippings (no comments please  ) ham came out great. I'll smoke a little longer next time. I like mine a little drier.

I like to rub my fatty,
(no comments please )
the rub crusts up a bit and gives the sausage some of the fried in a skillet texture.

Leftover fatty (a rare thing here) sliced and fried in the skillet while the Grands are baking is quite tasty too, served with a cold V-8 and some hashbrowns makes a damm fine breakfast.

Is it me or does this sound like dialog from a porno?

The best part of Saturday morning was fatty slices in English muffins toasted on the top of the Bandera! I'd removed the fatties from the Bandera about 6 o'clock when I removed the pork butt and brisket and put all in the cooler.

When Tim showed up about 7:15 a.m. we toasted the muffins and chowed down. Anne was encouraged to show up at the site shortly thereafter for cookoff McMuffins - we also had cinnamon rolls and fruit -- it's tough doing cookoff! Really! It IS!! :D

Saturday I did a big fatty from Sam's. They only sell the plain, so I toook it and drenched it in Maple Suryp for about 2 hours before smokin... It was AWESOME!!!

Sunday I took the left overs and made B&G's.... Wow!!! I was crying they were so good...

Yeah - B&G..... Mmmmm. The wife made the biscuts from scratch.... Man that was some fine eatin'....

and on the other comment from Wayne, I have used the Italian and the Hot variety fatties, already smoked, stuffed into poblano turds (and boats)

Good eating!!
