It depends on the temp. You want to cook it until the internal temp is at least 165.

Sure thing. Indirect would probably be best. Looks like you have a gasser? Some type of smoke would help (IMO)

Might be hard to do without just totally burning the outside. Give it a try, use Ron-O's advice, and let us know how it was. Sounds like a good experiment.

I have a gasser but I would be using some new toys I have aquired recently. I've smoked fatties on the SS UDS and they were great but I have some other ideas I want to try when I don't have the drum with me at the hunt camp. I'll let ya'll know the experiment when I try it, might be interesting......
