• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Well Home Depot, at least the ones around here, didn't have their annual sale on Kingsford on either Memorial Day or 4th of July. Guess there were too many of us waiting for that annual stockpile opportunity and the bastidges at HD picked up on it. My garage this time of year usually has about 400#'s piled up. It now has about 35.

I was watching to see if they were going to run the $2.99 deal on Rancher, but it wasn't listed in their flier :frown: I have to stop by there tomorrow AM & will see if it is on sale or still $4.99

$4.99 on the 4th.

12.99 for the 2 pack of 18# new K here on the 3rd.

I could go for another $2.99 Rancher deal myself. Might have to break down and buy a couple of bags for $4.99.

Bill, Menard's has the twin 21.6 ponders for 12.49

I looked at the receipt, it was the same price and pounds you mention

I just recall saying no F in way when I saw the 8# bags on the shelf at 4.99, I was going to walk out.

Then I noticed the pallets of Rancher and K in the aisle

It's 11 something for the twin packs at Costco. I'm talking about $6.99 or $7.99 for the twin packs. That's what they've done for the past several years. That's a deal no more apparently.

No sales at my HD either. I picked up twin packs of 21.6 kingsford for $12.97.
Rancher was still 4.99.

Has anyone ever tried the Sam's Choice 60% larger charcoal from Wal-Mart? I've noticed that it is very reasonably priced for twin packs, but I don't want to buy any if it is crap.

It is crap. I don't like it anyway. Your mileage may very.

Rancher is a great deal even at $4.99, I had my smoker going for almost 14 hours on the 4th on 10 lbs. of Rancher...I did nothing to the fire for the full cook.

I really feel bad for y'all!

I just order my pellets on-line and they show up like magic in 3 or 4 days :-D

Good luck in your shopping this year.

Well, it is not as easy as you might think!
I have to press and hold one key whilst I press another UP or DOWN arrow key.
Exhausting, demanding, and intellectually challenging work, for sure

OKie Dokie, back to my room now
