• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Small little get together, was expecting about 15 people or so.

12 1/2lb angus chuck burgers
10 Johnsonville brats
6 chicken breasts halved (12 pieces)
10 ears of corn
some green stuff my brother handed me and said "will you grill this too??"

The occasion was my brother's 12th wedding anniversary. He has been interested in a RK for quite some time, and he's had some fun cooking on mine. I decided that I could probably live with just having 1 RK, so being the nice guy that I am, I gave him a set of extra long tongs, an extra long spatula, a box of Weber igniter cubes, a Weber Chimney and a twin pack of 18.6 lb bags of Kingsford.

I gave his wife the RK :razz::razz::razz:

Your a nice bloke, food looks pretty tasty.

That green stuff is a bitch.

The procedure you followed is smart--that gives her pride of ownership, and she's not likely to start yelling at herself that the old grill has got to go.

I have given some family some grills in the past. I love sharing this hubby with them. Nice looking cook

Now that's brotherly love and great looking food too!

Great gift for them. Hope you told them you'll see them every Saturday afternoon for some grilling, beverages and football. You know, just to be on hand to answer any questions they might have.

Great stuff all around - very nice work there!

Thanks guys. Truth be told, it wasn't that generous a gift as 1), I picked that RK up for about $210 at an auction, and 2). even after giving it to them, I still have RK #1 on my patio. Also doesn't hurt that if I needed 2 RKs for another cook, they live 5 mins away.

Very cool thing to do! :thumb: You're a good bro.
