i gave this years competition rub out as christmas gifts to all my family and friends. Last night i went to a party at my father in-law's house. He had used my rub on a smoked salmon and then 2 rubs of his own on 2 other salmons.
Lets just say that after him hearing about my rub all night from the folks eating it he was getting a little testy. I took great joy in it too. At one point I heard him say he would of added something to my rub if he had made it and i said, yeah but they sure do like it as is. Muhahahaha.
It feels good when you hear everyone talking about your food, the best part: I barely knew anyone there and they didn't know it was me who made the rub. Every time someone commented my mother in law said it was "Second Hand Smokers rub".
