Did my first big smoke last Sat. night .....5ea. 8lb. butts took them off at 5am and wrapped them in foil and took them into the house to put them in oven to finish. Went to bed to wake up about 2 hrs later walked into the kitchen and was standing in a lot of juice that was coming out of the oven. Opened the oven and found the whole bottom filled with juice.....what a F------ mess The alum. foil had these small holes all through it. Went over to the roll and pulled some out and here is all the holes (from the mach that made it). Good thing neighbor is up and had some alum. foil. Need sleep having swimming party in few hrs...

That will happen. Next time wrap in foil and place in pan.... it's even worse when the foil springs a leak and drips on yout pants leg or feet. It's so hot that you will feel it.

Next trick is make sure you wiped up all the juice.
If you happen to leave a rag laying out for a couple of days
you will figure out what it is.

Me, too, but I've had enough leaks and splashes that I stick them into pans, too. I've even had the aluminum pans leak, so I foil them, too.....

I thought this was a picture of BYC...I thought his @$$ was a little too hair free :lol:
