• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

They didn't say anything about low and slow. Only grilling. Low and slow actually destroys AGE's and is the preferred method of cooking beef, pork chicken according to a study in my own smoker.

Anybody can write an article...

Especially of you live in a bastion of liberal think, like here in Madison.
The reason folks here don't Q isn't becuse it isn't healthy, it's because the tofu slices and bean sprouts fall through the grill.
 
And whoever said we cooked with high heat? I agree, no boiled meat for me.
 
Who cares. It like eggs, they used to be good for you then they were bad for you then only the yolks were bad, and I think now they are back to being good for you. They dont have a clue what does what, researchers find reasons to justify what they think is bad. Not to just find out whats bad.
 
And after all this time we are only hearing this from 1 PERSON?? Come on if there was something to this you would see alot of citations and studies that have been done. Not buying off on this yet, not enough info.
 
If eating grilled food is killing us, then why are there so many people alive who love to grill. I should have died years agao from the advancement of AGE if you were to believe the author. Then again maybe low and slow reverses the effects of AGE in humans
 
Ive gotta tell you guys I think your off the mark here. This is a health concern we should all be taking seriously. Im sure this lady loves Q like the rest of us and im also sure that whicle she sits in her apartment in San Fransisco she is doing everything she can to keep us alive. So, from this point on I say we boil everything, ribs, chicken, brisket, even fatties. It's your lives gentlemen, I suggest you take note and heed this lady's warning. :roll: :roll: :shock: :shock:

Look at the picture that is with the article. They are showing the ribs and chicken on a smoker not a grill. I will not take this seriously until the reporter can differentiate between grilling and BBQ.
 
yup, this ladys trying to keep us alive by not eating Q.. her problem is she has never ate real Q.. tell her to eat more grilled pork ..the grease is good for her complexion..what we really need more of is fat girls and weed ..thats all we need to live long and happy...my 2 cents..
