• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

WAs cleanin out the fridge.....

So. In the crock pot as i type is:

Half leftover Brisket flat, Half a leftover Prime Rib, both slow cooked on mesquite.
Big bottle of Salsa
Can of tomatos
Whole onions, 2 ancho chiles, couple garlic cloves,
Some chile seasonings and a bottle of beer.

Smells like an old tire is cooking... initial taste says it is an old tire cooking.

So.. the question is......Do I let it continue or put it out of its misery early?

MMMMMMMMMMMMM... Tire....:)

Stuff was very good. I warned everyone before we sat down that i may be running out for a pizza and if they dont like I will make somethig else. Wife thought it was really good which surprised me cause she usually doesnt like very smokey stuff. Kids chowed down also. They were quiet while eating, which was a good sign. No one complined, no one died, and everyone went back for seconds and thirds. Just a very smokey chile...Towards the end I added a few of the country ribs that i cooked this weekend.. It was kinda like chile flavored beef stew(with some pork). All the meat was in large cubes and after simmering in the crockpot for 4 hours was falling apart. Pretty good for a pot luck dinner out of leftovers.. and i got to clean the fridge. :)

This one popped up two actually.

The other one had Jorge getting a flat tire in his 2 week old car/truck

He was pretty pissed, but it was pretty funny.
