• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Am a little late coming to the party. Had family over for Easter sort of last minute. Decided to smoke some prime rib served with au jus, baked ham with bourbon spice glaze, scalloped potatoes, mac n cheese, grilled asparagus, and salad.

Sorry, no pics of the prep, the meat just off the fire, or the making of the au jus (limited pan drippings supplemented with beef stock, carrot, celery, shallot, thyme, rosemary). There were hungry people that needed food!!!

Need some adult beverages to round out the meal...along with some grilled asparagus.

One prime rib being finished on the gasser. Note: this was a video my nephew had taken on his phone. I think you have to go to my SmugMug site to see the video.


Pics from my nephew from the following day. He had gotten some of the leftovers and was enjoying them for lunch.

Thanks Jayman! The cook came together nicely, the family enjoyed the meal, and we all enjoyed hanging out together. The nephews are at the stage of life where they are busy with school and work, so it was terrific to be able to get them together, even for a little bit.
