• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

What's the best way to prepare? Steam, boil, or maybe just chilled? Thanks

Wrong, it's a good question.
The ones I've seen are already cooked. A little smoke while they are reheating would be all to the good. Otherwise, I'd consult a cookbook and follow the instructions.
According to Google,
Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. ...
  2. Arrange your tasty crustaceans in a 9x13 baking dish, brushing each leg with the sauce. ...
  3. Bake your crabs for about 25 minutes or so (depending on how thick the legs you have are), brushing the sauce from the bottom of the pan onto the legs every 5-7 minutes.
That would work on my kettle.

Stone Crab Claws are cooked as soon as they're caught so can be eaten chilled or warmed up however you like. Can't beat a few minutes on the grill and some mustard sauce.

I've only ever had them cold, and they are delicious. I've had several restaurateurs urge me to order them only chilled even if they offer them warm. I've always just listened, and order chilled as seafood is something that I'm definately not an expert on. I should have asked why, but didn't.
