So I decided I would try my first beer butt chicken, all I can say is why have I waited so long for this!

I rubbed it with olive oil, Cajun shake, Creole, Lemon pepper and seasoned salt

Then threw it on the kettle with some corn on the cob, and just before I pulled it I added some pineapple

Plated up a leg and thigh for me

The flavor was amazing on this, and so juicy, my girlfriend told me this was the only way I was allowed to cook corn from now on, and it you have never had grilled pineapple I'm sorry. Now I just need to spend some more time with my new camera and learn how to use it.

Nice color on that chicken, surprised you've never done it before

I have done my fair share of birds just never a beer can bird, normally i just do thighs a,d next time he drunken bird is getting rubbed with my special rub I use on my thighs

That bird looks really good. Next time, try another method, spatchcocking. It will give you a whole new perspective.

Looks amazing! I love the lemon pepper Cajun Shake. I also have been known to inject strained Ken's Italian salad dressing a couple of hours before I cook. The olive oil in the dressing will collect in the bottom of the tray that I use to continue to baste the birds with.

I'll admit I don't do beer can chicken very often. Not sure why because it's easy and tasty!

Thanks for the reminder and a great cook!

So my girlfriend took my leftover chicken to work for her lunch today, when she got home shw told me i should have made another one today lol
