Six Shooter BBQ

Went bought a bone out ham for dinner last night. Was it good. Smoked it for a 2.5 hrs. Glazing with a Dr. Pepper glaze i found and then added a bit of this and took out that. That was some good stuff. Glazed it every 15 min. to get a night thick candy shell on it and then let all the juices soak into the ham and and just give it some great flavor.
Never tried DRP before as a bbq or sauce base but i will be doing it more. Gives is a great bite at the end.

Anyone have good luck with a double smoked ham.

Sounds good! Was the Dr. Pepper glaze from a recipe or was it store bought? i noticed a bottle of Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce at the grocery store the other day but I haven't tried it yet.

I have a 10 lb shank portion ham that is going into the pellet pooper shortly. I haven't decided if i am glazing it or not.
