I bought a smoked ham when they were on sale after Easter. Best By Date of July 4, so I am thinking I am going to go ahead and cook it.

We generally only have hams during the holidays and I bake them while I smoke my turkeys.

I want to try double smoked - Any tips?

If it's a spiral cut, stuff canned apple pie filling in all the slices and a spicy rub. This is one of the few I do low and slow, but it's worth it...rub the glaze all about as well.
