Double smoked ham subs

Guys, some of you may have seen my post in the fark thread. One of my extract jars, the butter pecan got broken in shipping and leaked all out. The rum bottle fell out of the busted open evelope but the orange extract made it. Woohoo. The company emailed and said they were sending replacements but did not say how they were being shipped this time.

If they dont arrive before Saturday, can I sub real rum for the rum extract? I see Dr Chicken lists a sub for the butter pecan.

Your local grocer should have McCormick brand extracts. No butter pecan, but they will probably have the rum.

I found the Michele's brand butter pecan syrup at Walmart. Haven't used it yet, but I believe the recipe said to double the quantity if substituting for extract.
