Double Barrel Smoker on Cover of JD BBQ Cookbook by Vince Staten

Anyone know where to get a Double Barrel Smoker like the one on the cover of The Jack Daniels BBQ Cookbook by Vince Staten?

I found some of the components from Vogelsang Stove Products.

Anyone ever made one? If so, how does it cook and where did you get the components?

The JD book, per the Amazon picture, shows something similar.

It also shows that Vince Staten has some funny ass books out there.

Staten has a bbq joint in prospect, ky
Its called statens barbeque.
We refer to it as satans bbq.
Im not sure what they cook on .
Most of the sandwiches are made up and tin foiled.
You can add your sauce at the table.
It has been awhile since ive been there.

Hope these help. I plan on building an offset drum smoker using the charbroil firebox addon. Not very happy with the direct style of cooking on a vertical drum. I have 5 drums. I may build one of these setups instead. I want indirect smoke.

you can find the double barrel kits for a heating stove, at some hardware stores.
and then just make adjustments for turning into a cooker.
