• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

There's this "Dog Days of Summer" hotdog throwdown going on that I've really been struggling with, and I'll take just a moment to tell you why:
I like to cook. And to me, cooking sort of involves making something where that something didn't exist before...a transformation. I see all these commercials on TV and glossy ads in magazines aimed mostly at children, I'm guessing...they are promoting nature's foods that come in their own wrappers...like bananas and corn-on-the-cob. I suppose the upshot of these PSAs is to get people to eat healthier and not fark with their food so much with additives and artificial flavoring. And in BBQ, we have a similar appreciation for meat with built-in handles like ribs or drumsticks or bone-in ribeye...just heat it to temp, pick it up and eat it!
So enter the hotdog...a totally man-made and processed food that comes in it's own wrapper...it's perfect, so why fark with it, right? :bolt:

I am in the don't crowd. Most I put on a good beef dog is a little chili, never mustard, ketchup, relish, etc. A quality dog has great flavor all on it's own.

The only way to enjoy a wiener is to char the chit out of it...
Is that considered farking with it?

There is a lot of stuff u can do with hot dogs. But hard to beat it off a grill or a open fire. That said though it's hard eat them if they aren't made well. Some off brands are awful. But if they are quality it's hard to beat them as a meal sometimes.

No need for you to struggle. Your answer is right there in front of you. Make your own hotdogs and strut them right out to the throwdown.

Good. Fark with it, it is then... :thumb:

I love cheap hotdogs, and good hotdogs. My favorite lunch is a Nathan's all beef dog and a fountain soda from Sam's for $1.70. I want to get one of these for my office, but I would have to buy new clothes a size bigger.

But, I prefer a plan dog, just a little ketchup. Sometimes chili and cheese are ok, but I want to taste the meat.

Dog straight off the grill with a stripe of mustard or full works ! Hard to beat a Good Hot dog.

I'm not a dog fan but would definitely hit those. Looks fantastic James!!

An all beef dog grilled with mayo and a little bit of ketchup... Yum (and sorry for those of you who are grossed out by mayo on a dog).

How did I know you were going to fark with it. :becky: Looks awesome sir!

A Hot dog wrapped in bacon, wrapped inside curly fries... and on a stick.

Gonna have to try this soon
