I'm in the SW Chicago burbs. Duck has become one of my favorite things, and if the warehouse stores carry it I may have to get a membership.

If y'all could share prices you've seen, that'd be cool too.

Not sure which swestern burb you are in - but the Michael's Fresh Market in Naperville has quite a bit to choose from (former resident mod).

If I recall correctly, they were near the intersection of Route 59 and Ogden Ave.

I LOVE that place. Can't believe I didn't think of them. I get my pork butts there for $1.29/pound.

So, you've seen duck there, or just figure that's a good place to look?

Thanks.

Been a Sam's member for over 10 years and i think(old timers disease) i saw duck once around Christmas. Other than that 1 time-no duck.
Ducks are popular around my house during hunting season.

I haven't lived in Naperville in a good 5 years - so not exactly sure what they have now. I remembered when that store opened. I was buying all sorts of stuff to throw on the grill.

I know that they have had it in the past.

The last time I stopped there was about a year or so ago and picked up limes for 0.10 each, lemons for 0.15 each and I made TONS of llamaritas when I got home.

I swung by the Naperville Michael's Fresh Market - and they did have frozen duck.

I didn't check the per pound price - but they looked to average $10 - $15 per bird.

Go past the produce area, make a left - and they are in an end freezer in the aisle parellel to the deli counter at the far end.
